Meet your violinist
Anny is a Colombian violinist and performing artist based in New York City, bringing a distinctive blend of elegance, emotion, and Latin American roots to every performance.
Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Anny grew up surrounded by music. She began singing at just three years old and discovered the violin at nine, quickly developing a deep connection with the instrument she would come to call her “second voice.” What began as a childhood passion became the heart of her artistic journey.
Anny began performing alongside her parents as a teenager, and over the years, the violin has taken her to stages and events across the United States. Her musical style draws from her Colombian heritage and Latin American influences, while incorporating elements of jazz, bossa nova, bolero, Afro-Cuban music, folk, and pop.
A Berklee alumna, Anny studied at Berklee College of Music on a full-tuition scholarship after previously receiving a full-tuition scholarship to EMMAT in Bogotá. Her education has allowed her to develop a versatile approach to the violin, moving naturally between intimate acoustic performances, contemporary arrangements, live events, and original music.
In 2026, Anny performed at New York Fashion Week for renowned designer Giannina Azar, performing alongside Miss Universe 2026 as part of the designer’s presentation. She has also performed at the Viva Perú Festival at Walt Disney Amphitheater, the Harvard Colombian Association, and alongside internationally recognized artists including Grammy - Winner - Tony Succar.
Over the years, she has found a special love for performing at weddings, where music becomes part of a couple’s most meaningful day. At every event, she strives to bring a personal and elegant touch to each celebration.
As she continues to grow as an artist, she is always exploring new sounds and refining her purpose. But one thing remains the same: her passion for using music to connect, move, and make life’s most important moments even more memorable.
